Independence Day Greetings for India

15th August the red-letter day in the Indian calendar is celebrated as the Independence Day of India. The date observed as the day when India recognizes freedom from the British rule in the year 1947. It has been a long journey for India since 1947. All the government offices are closed on this day but they are lit up with tri color lights and flag hoisting ceremonial are carrying out in almost all the schools and colleges to mark the occasion.
